Who is David Sharpe?

Before David Sharpe made millions of dollars with a digital marketing business he should have been dead. He was a homeless, high-school dropout who was addicted to drugs and destined for early death.

The 5 W's

How did David Sharpe earn over $200,000,000 in sales? He got very clear about his marketing message which is centered around 5 “W's”. 

The number one reason why 97% of home business owners fail is they are not clear on what their marketing message is. Success in your business depends on the message to market match.

The cool thing about this 5 “W” formula helps you gain clarity. 

WHO

Who is your target customer? If other people are succeeding in your company and you're not, it's not the company, it's not the product, it's not the compensation plan, it's you.

Most likely it's your messaging and you don't know who you're talking to. You need to know who will respond best to your story.

Marketing online is sift and sorting your target market from everyone else.

WHAT

After knowing who your market is, David Sharpe says the next “W” is what EXACTLY am I selling?

You need to be very clear on what you're selling and able to explain it in simple terms. Less is always more.

Here's the thing. You don't need to know every little thing about your business opportunity or product. 

Get clear on what your message is to your audience. If you're more business opportunity‐minded, make that 90 percent of the presentation and 10 percent about the product.

If you're more product‐oriented, make that 90 percent and make the business opportunity a bonus.

WHERE

The third “W” David shares is where can they access this easily? Lay it out in it's most simplest form.

For example. “Your products come shipped directly to your door”, or “you log in to your back office and you can access your information 25 hours/day.”

People have got enough problems in their life, they've got enough worries. They just want to know that if they're going to do business with you, they know exactly what they're getting and they know they're going to get it easily.

WHEN

The fourth “W” is when do they NEED to buy? Emphasis is on timing, urgency, scarcity.

If you have not given somebody a reason to act, they have no reason to act. Is there a time sensitive bonus you can give them?

Does your company offer an incentive such as a $1 enrollment, or when your purchase today you get this product for FREE?

WHY

The final “WHY” David says is why should they do business with you? What skills do you have that other's don't?

Can you create some bonuses that have some exclusivity where people feel like they are a part of something.

For example, could you learn a skill from a leader in your niche and offer to do a training for them where you show them what you've learned.
