Who is Cesar Rodriguez?
Cesar Rodriguez started his network marketing business in his early 20's right out of college and had his first 7 figure year at age 29. The biggest challenge most network marketers have in the beginning is their posture when talking to prospects. Most network marketers come from a place of need.
“I need to get the next 3 sales or I will miss my bonus.”, or “I need to close 5 people today so I can make my mortgage payment.”
When you posture yourself from a place of need people will not buy from you or join your team.
So how do you develop unstoppable posture. Cesar Rodriguez shares with Norbert some key tips that will help you.
Tip #1: Belief in Your Business
To develop unstoppable posture you must have belief in your business opportunity. Cesar shares some guiding questions to help you
- Do you truly believe that there are people making great money with your company and living amazing lives?
- Have you met people at live events that are making 6 figures and living their dream?
- Have you experienced success in your company?
When you have unshakable belief in your business and how people's lives are impacted, people become more attracted to you. People follow those who have a strong belief in who they are, what they stand for, who they are fighting for, and where they are going.
That's why it's important to attend your company's live events and pay close attention to people getting recognized on stage. This helps build your level of belief and it helps build the level of belief of your prospects.
When you share the stories of successful people in your company, it reinforces the belief of your prospects that they can be successful too.
Tip #2: Emotionally Detach Yourself from the Outcome
In the interview Cesar points out that the biggest reason why so many people fear rejection is the emotional sting attached to it. People place too much emotion into rejection and prospecting becomes very fearful.
Emotional attachment to the result comes from a lack of people to talk to. According to Cesar, when you're talking to 15-20 qualified people/day the rejections don't matter because you have other people to talk to.

This was the biggest takeaway I had from Cesar's interview. According to Cesar, amateurs convince people to join them, while professionals SORT.
Let me explain.
The most successful network marketers have the posture that they are interviewing prospects to see if they are a good fit for you to work with.
Write down all of the qualities of your perfect distributor. When you know exactly who you are looking for, you won't feel the sting of rejection because you're looking for people who are looking for you.
